OLIGHT Osight SE RED is a compact enclosed red dot sight (Enclosed Emitter) designed for direct mounting on compatible GLOCK® MOS slides. No adapter plate is required between the red dot sight and the slide, allowing the optic to sit lower while also eliminating the need to purchase additional mounting plates. According to the manufacturer, the low-profile design allows direct Co-Witness with most factory GLOCK® iron sights. The enclosed housing also protects the emitter from water, dust and dirt that can interfere with the beam path in open red dot sights. The Osight SE MOS uses an aspherical lens with a 21 × 14 mm window and a multi-layer anti-reflective coating. The aspherical lens design is engineered to reduce visible distortion and provide a clear, natural image. The manufacturer also specifies parallax-free operation and unlimited eye relief. The red Multi-Reticle system offers three display options: a precise 2 MOA dot, a standalone 32 MOA circle or their combination, 2 MOA dot + 32 MOA circle. Brightness can be adjusted across 10 levels, including 8 for daytime use and 2 for NV. Power is supplied by a CR1632 battery in a side-loading compartment. This means the red dot sight does not need to be removed from the slide when replacing the battery, preserving its mounting position and zero. The stated maximum battery life reaches up to 140,000 hours in Mode 3 when using the standalone dot. The motion sensor activates the red dot sight when movement is detected and switches it to sleep mode after 3 minutes of inactivity. It also features a memory function for the last setting and a low battery voltage warning. The red dot sight body is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium. Measuring 62 × 26 × 28 mm, the Osight SE MOS weighs 45 g. The construction offers IPX7 water resistance, an operating temperature range from -30 to 60 °C and an elevation and windage adjustment range of ±35 MOA. One click of the adjustment mechanism equals 1 MOA. The Osight SE MOS is not compatible with G43X MOS and G48 MOS models and is not designed for GLOCK® MOS Gen 6 slides.
The red dot sight mounts directly onto compatible full-size GLOCK® MOS slides without an adapter plate. This allows the optic to sit lower and eliminates an additional mounting interface between the slide and the red dot sight.
The fully enclosed design protects the emitter from water, dust and dirt. The red dot sight construction has an IPX7 water resistance rating.
Depending on the situation, you can select a 2 MOA dot, 32 MOA circle or a combination of the 2 MOA dot + 32 MOA circle. There are 8 daytime and 2 NV brightness levels available.
The side battery compartment allows the CR1632 to be replaced without removing the red dot sight. The stated maximum battery life reaches up to 140,000 hours in Mode 3 when using the standalone dot.

During installation, the manufacturer requires the use of a removable medium-strength (blue) threadlocker on the supplied screws. The recommended tightening torque is specified on the included READ ME card; the technical specifications state a value of 15 in-lbs per screw for M3 screws.
