With the short outer barrels, you can make your rifle more maneuverable. It is also a good addition if you are planning to use a suppressor on your SSG96 as it will keep your rifle more compact.
If you don’t want to use a suppressor, get the short inner barrel for the SSG96. Otherwise, the inner barrel will be sticking out.
It is also possible to use the original inner barrel with the Novritsch Suppressor. The inner barrel will stick halfway to the suppressor.
13cm shorter and about 30% lighter than the standard barrel.
