This adapter fits entirely inside your GEN12 magwell, allowing you to run PTS EPM1 magazines.
You must remove the feed tube from your Gen 12 magwell (two screws) and put in the adapter in place, securing with the same two screws. The magazine catch of the rifle must be replaced with the magazine catch that ships with the adapter. This is achieved by pushing the catch in as far as it will go, and rotating the catch to unscrew it from the mag release button.
Fitted with BB retention.
