The Fusion Engine™ from Polarstar is today one of the most proven HPA design for airsoft. It was originally released in 2011 and its received reward for “Best HPA Engine” in 8th Airsoft Player’s Choice Awards by Popular Airsoft. The third generation of this system continues this tradition and provides the user with one of the best drop-in kits on the market.
This complete drop-in system replaces the whole AEG gearbox with high quality, CNC machined strong and lightweight aluminium chassis. It’s a dual solenoid closed bolt system, therefore you can adjust the poppet valve (firing air) and nozzle (feeding) independently for full control over both the loading time and air volume used.
Velocity: 550fps w/ .20g @ 120psi.
Fusion Engine can be adjusted not only by input pressure but also by switching 6 nozzles (sold separately) with a different dimension which allows you to change the velocity in large increments.
ROF: 30rps+
In most standard configurations the engine can provide 30 rounds per second cyclic rate. Keep in mind that this can be affected by several factors such as the operating pressure as well as the quality of the magazine and BB’s used.
Air Efficiency: 400+ shots from 13/3000 @ 1.5J w/ .28g
Fusion Engine was mainly designed to deliver maximum power. Air efficiency was not a top priority, however, thanks to the modular design it’s system can be adjusted with narrower valve stems and shims which allows air efficiency to more than double.
